The front door swung open and Jeremy rushed through the hallway towards the staircase.
"Front door," I called out from the recliner. I glanced at my watch. It was late. I took a sip of the beer I was nursing. He always left doors open; he seemed to ignore their existence as he passed through. I chalk it up to pure laziness.
